In this day of high ABVs and IBUs, it’s easy to dismiss this style. Boring, right?

That’s where you’d be wrong. Brown ales are not too heavy and not too roasty--perfect for in-between weather.

What’s more, this more moderate style is better suited to food pairing compared with the “stand on its own” craft offerings.
